Begin your angelfish by creating a waterbomb base. Take a square piece of paper and fold it in half diagonally both ways. Then fold it in half vertically and horizontally. Collapse the paper inward along the folds to form a triangle, with two flaps on each side as shown.

Take the top layer on the right side and fold it diagonally downward, following the dashed line in the diagram. Make sure the fold starts from the top point and aligns with the lower edge to form a neat triangle shape.

Now, take the top layer on the left side and fold it downward along the dashed line, just like you did on the right. This creates a symmetrical look with both sides pointing downward.

Gently flip the entire model over to see the other face. This prepares the origami for the final fold that gives the angelfish its distinctive shape.
