
This easy origami shark is a fun and beginner-friendly project that’s great for kids and adults alike. With only 9 steps, you’ll create a fierce-looking shark using basic folds and a single cut. You can even decorate it with eyes and teeth for a more dynamic look. For the best result, try using two-sided colored paper!

Place your paper like a diamond. Fold the top corner to the bottom corner, crease well, and unfold to create a center guide.

Fold the sharp right point over to the center dot, crease, and unfold. This creates a helpful mark for shaping.

Use the mark from Step 3 as reference. Fold the top and bottom edges inward along the dotted lines so they meet at the mark.

Use scissors to make a small cut from the pointy tip up to the red dot. This will let us shape the tail later.
